The College Counseling office works closely with each student to create a list of colleges and universities that meet his or her specific needs. Our goal is simple: to find the right match between student and college.

Beginning in January of the junior year, the counselor meets with juniors and their parents, as a group, to preview the upcoming year and to provide families with a handbook detailing the college search process. In the spring, the counselor meets individually with students and their parents to develop a list of schools that students can research and visit during the summer and fall of the senior year. Students and their parents complete extensive questionnaires that help narrow their focus to those schools that most closely match the student’s needs. We provide extensive support throughout the application, acceptance and decision-making phases of the senior year.

Students from Gann Academy have been accepted to a wide range of colleges and universities and programs in Israel. Our students fare well in the college admissions process because colleges respect the rigor of our academic program and recognize the leadership and creativity our students bring to the extracurricular life of the school.
